MCLS maintains several electronic mailing lists for information exchange among members. Use this page to find information about the lists, subscribe to a list, unsubscribe, or update your subscription preferences.

MCLS Information Announcement List

mlcinfo-list provides updates on MCLS workshops, special programs, product information, Board of Directors' meetings, and other MCLS-related news. The list is moderated and used for MCLS-generated news and announcements only.

INCOLSA-Announce

This is a moderated email list for Indiana librarians to receive official INCOLSA announcements. The announcements include information on INCOLSA services and governance as well as news from the Executive Director. All INCOLSA members are encouraged to join. Only INCOLSA staff can post to this list. All postings to this list will automatically be posted to INCOLSA-L as well.

INCOLSA-L

INCOLSA-L is an unmoderated email list for Indiana librarians to share ideas, issues and concerns facing the various networks of libraries. Indiana-RS

The scope of Indiana-RS is resource sharing in its broad definition. Resource sharing includes, but is not limited to: traditional interlibrary loan, purchase in lieu of ILL, document delivery, remote circulation, access services, remote storage, and other shared library services. Discussion on this listserv is not limited to any specific vendor, utility or supporting software. Indiana-RS is intended to provide a forum for discussion, mutual support, and information.

The Shared Catalog of Indiana Online (SCION, formerly ISLC) Project members list (ISLC) is a closed list for the members of the SCION Project. Techies

Techies is an unmoderated email list geared towards the computer / technical staff at Indiana libraries and INCOLSA. The purpose of this list is to facilitate greater communication between the technical staff at INCOLSA and its counterparts at INCOLSA member libraries, and to share ideas, experiences and suggestions for setting up networks, hardware, and software. Additional objectives are to introduce a wide range of techies to different points of view regarding issues like security, email clients, and operating systems, and to share ideas, issues and concerns facing the various networks of libraries.
