MeLCat Book Marks

Here are two MeLCat Book Marks that participating libraries may customize and print to give to their patrons with their MeLCat loans.  These book marks were created by the MeL Resource Sharing Policies Committee and reviewed by the State Librarian in May 2006.

There is a link to a Word document for each book mark--with text for both the front and back. 

For the home library's patrons

One book mark is for the home library's patrons when they check out MeLCat items they have requested.  It gives basic information about returns, renewals and fines and fees.  It may be inserted in the books as they are checked out.

Patron Book Mark

For visiting patrons

The other book mark is for visiting MeLCat library patrons when they check out your library's books in person.  It gives basic information about returns, renewals and fines and fees for visiting patrons.  It may be inserted in the books as they are checked out and will help identify these items as MeLCat loans.   Just add your library's name before printing.
