Virtual Dialogues 2024

MCLS’s Engagement, Consulting, and Training team will be hosting more sessions of our popular Virtual Dialogues via Zoom every other month in 2024, beginning in January. Mark your calendars now to join us!

This year, we're trying something new! We’ll be bringing together specific groups of library staff from across our two-state region to give space and time for those with similar challenges and opportunities to meet for dialogue on topics of interest to them.

These Dialogues are FREE and are designed for librarians and library workers at all levels to connect, engage, learn from, and support each other across our two-state membership region. You do not need to be from an MCLS member library to participate.

Each session will have a specific audience and guided questions based on principles and practices of Appreciative Inquiry to facilitate a supportive, growth-minded space. Most of the time will be spent in conversation with each other, so come with your camera and audio connected and ready to see and hear others as well as be seen and heard!

Sessions will be 10:30 a.m.-noon Eastern (9:30-11 a.m. Central).

Registration is FREE but first-come, first-served.

You can register for Virtual Dialogues appropriate for your library type and role by clicking the links below. More audiences and registration links will be added as the year goes on. Upon registration you will be sent an individual, personal Zoom link for the specific Dialogue.

Because these sessions are truly DIALOGUES and most of the learning will be done from peers in breakout rooms, they will NOT be recorded and shared for later viewing. We hope you can join us live.

We look forward to connecting with you!
